Ace Race
LIGHTNING-FAST FOOT RACE
1
History
There's no better feeling than gliding through the gaping chasms of the Caves and Cliffs update... until you fly head-first into The Warden's lair. For Ace Race, players will sprint from the mountain top to the deepest point in the world, passing through the stunning landscapes that this update had to offer.
How to play
2
The Basics
It's a multi-lap race on foot - fastest player wins. But don't be fooled, as well as your legs, you'll be using jump pads, tridents, elytras, launchers, and even swimming underwater. Use as many of these gadgets as you can while dodging the map's pitfalls and exploiting it's tricky shortcuts to overcome your opponents in this high-octane racing game.
3
Objective
Nothing matters in this game other than speed. After completing three laps, only the moment you cross the finish line will separate you from your foes, so make sure you're making every second count!
4
Modes
Throughout the course you'll come across multiple ways of getting around. Some on foot, some through the sky. You'll sometimes find yourself with a riptide trident to launch yourself out water pools along the map to gracefully overtake your opponents.
5
Course
Along the course, you'll find yellow speed boosters to make you faster underfoot, red launch pads to throw you through the air, green jump pads which will give you a spring up as well as moving walls, turbulent wind, and prickly bushes to slow you down.
